PureMonitor
Privacy Policy
PureMonitor is a local hardware-monitoring application for Windows. We designed it to respect your privacy: PureMonitor does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data.
What data PureMonitor accesses
PureMonitor reads hardware and system telemetry locally on your device to display it to you — for example: CPU/GPU load, temperatures, clock speeds, fan speed, RAM usage, disk usage and read/write rates, and network adapter throughput. This information is shown live in the app and its widgets. It is never sent off your device and is not written anywhere except transient in-memory use while the app is running.
What we do NOT do
- We do not collect telemetry or analytics.
- We do not require or create an account.
- We do not show advertisements.
- We do not track you across applications or the web.
- We do not transmit your hardware data, settings, or any identifier to us or to any third party.
Local settings
Your preferences (theme, language, widget layout, alarm thresholds, etc.) are stored only on your device in your local application-data folder (%LocalAppData%\PureMonitor). Uninstalling the app or clearing this folder removes them. These settings never leave your device.
Purchases (PureMonitor Pro)
If you choose to upgrade to PureMonitor Pro, the purchase is handled entirely by the Microsoft Store. PureMonitor only asks the Store whether the Pro add-on is owned; it does not see or store your payment details. Microsoft's handling of that transaction is governed by the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Optional driver download (Full version only)
The Store version of PureMonitor is fully driverless. The separately distributed "Full" version can read deeper CPU sensors using the third-party, open-source PawnIO kernel driver. PureMonitor does not collect any data through this driver. In the Store version, if you tap "Install PawnIO," PureMonitor simply opens the official PawnIO website (https://pawnio.eu/) in your browser — that is the only outbound network action PureMonitor initiates, and only at your explicit request.
Children's privacy
PureMonitor is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children. It collects no personal information from anyone.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at the same URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
